In New York City, you can be 1 in a million, and there are still 7 other people just like you.

How messed up is that.

What's so messed up about it? It's mathematically correct :p What's messed up is probably your perception of how large 1 million is.

Viper, yes.

Another take on it would be...you have at least 7 compatible people with you in NYC (friends? maybe...if you like similar people) so its just looking that is the difficult part.

Or, there are clones of you that you've never met, but maybe your friends have and when they say, "Hey, ya know, i met someone juuuuust like you the other day." Maybe they meant..."i just met your clone yesterday."

Hehehe...sorry, getting my brain geared up for some abstract thinking...i start school tomorrow, and i need to prepare for the daydreaming. ;)

My hubby went to work for the first time there, from where we live in a small town upstate, and at least 5 people thought they had met him before. So that saying might be true. ;)

I remember that saying, however I remember from when the world population hit five billion and then it went like: Just remember, if you're one in a million, there's 50,000 others just like you. :)

damaged, that's completely wrong. that is just wrong. we only have 6 billion, maybe 6.5 billion people.

so 1 in a million means... there are 6000 or 6500 of you in the world. or like a thousand of you in china or india...
