I was watching the new American Chopper online today. They got to a part where Senior was doing a deal with a Maserati stealership in Florida to sell bikes there. Senior said the bikes would be priced around $40k so the average person could afford them. That's when an involuntary laugh shot out of my mouth and reverberated off the walls.

 :confused_old:

It sort of reminds me when there are Lexus commercials around Christmas. Essentially they are saying: "This is a good deal you should buy your spouse one". It's only a $70,000 car. lol

Only the corporations are going to get tax cuts.

...so they can charge less for products and we can afford them more! Everybody wins! :p

If that was in Canadian money, then it was a STEAL!

With our Tax Cuts in hand, we'll take 2.
Regular, run of the mill average Americans are finally getting some relief after the last president hiked taxes.

They're all so fucking sad. My heart breaks for the single parent trying to raise her kids on a meager $260,000 especially. Thankfully, she can still afford one of these new affordable bikes! :D

To be fair, that is after her $75,000 in deductions and savings. So, while $335k is still really poor (being able to save more than $35k per anum would be great and all--don't know how any kind of cretin survives on less than that!), at least it isn't $260k poor.

If she were smart, being that she needed the cash, she wouldn't save so much. Desperate times.

Friend of mine's husband has a silver/blue Ghilbi convertible in his garage. All talk of reliability and wretched material excess aside, the damn thing is pure sex and nearly makes me jizz as I run my trembling hand across its flanks.

I felt the same way about my friend's 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 6-pack 4 speed super trak-pac (4:10 geared Dana 60).

American Chopper is a thing again?
This.

Didn't they have a big argument, like didn't the show change names to like JR vs SR or some stupid shit?

I presume it's more IRL DRAMA/reality TV vs building bikes like the good ol days.

Was it ever? I thought American Chopper was about a domestically sourced kitchen implement . . . or a patriotic serial killer.

Did more research, the ORIGINAL American Chopper was from 2003-2010, Season 11 ("Return") started running this year (May 28th)

sauce: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Chopper#Return_(2018)

I presume this is either 1) they need money 2) Discovery needs more reality TV shows to their line up (which is fucking stupid, BRING BACK MYTHBUSTERS, except they can't so whatever) 3) Millennials are now (or have been) in the yopro phase (young professional) so something something nostalgic?
