I like to watch old episodes of Good Eats every now and then...he didn't have his rhythm or on-screen charm yet and it's quite different.

alton brown's show really appeals to men in my opinion. i love how he dissects all the information and gives alot of background on any particular type of food, eg. sushi, steak, etc. and gives a more scientific POV.

that show is great!
