We've had the new bottles for a bit, I don't know how it doesn't hold less... It seems to be smaller than the old bottles, lol.

Looks like they would waste space during shipping, and stocking, cause their prices to rise.
It also looks like it wastes more plastic as well which would be an addition cost.
