I like the movie "National Treasure"

Just what the thread title says. I enjoy the movie "National Treasure" but I know that it isn't anywhere near the truth. Are there any "true" stories like that in the same part of history?

I enjoy Dan Browns books too but he said NON-Fiction. I remeber reading books about the USS Constitution which was real good and factually correct. Maybe try "Night"

the da vinci code might be along the lines of national Treasure but it isn't non-fiction though.

National Treasure was good. I have The Da Vinci code book but haven't read it yet.

The book was better than the movie.

Micheal Crichton's book The Great Train Robbery is a fictional book based on fact (I think). Not the same type of story as National Treasure or DaVinci code though more of an Oceans Eleven type story.

Does anyone here read???

Uh...yeah...but we can't always cater to your needs. Just go to a bookstore and pick out something that looks good. I used to ask for book recommendations and just ended up reading the same stuff every time. Go find something new, and find it on your own.

Everything mentioned so far in this thread sucks.

Nothing? Then why does it speak? 😕

If you want a well written book dealing with codes and historical subjects you should bick up the Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. Or his baroque trilogy (if you want to read 2700 pages of awesomness).

That's better.
