it's the one mouse button. it gets on my nerves :p viao's are also out of the running.

anyone know of any powerbook "inspired" laptops? looking for something small, sturdy, and either white or silver.

I'm totally in love with this one, but a minimum of a 15" screen is a must.

Mac OS X has support for mice with multiple buttons so you could always just use whichever USB or BlueTooth mouse you wanted.

Another alternative specifically to the notebooks is to install SideTrack - http://www.ragingmenace.com/software/sidetrack/
It's a replacement driver for the trackpad that lets you map taps in the corners of the trackpad to correspond to other mouse buttons as well as the edges of the trackpad to correspond to the scroll wheel.

it has been a while since I used sidetrack but if I remember right it was a nice little app...personaly I use a BT mouse w/my 14" ibook and it works fine..the only thing that doesn't work is a seperate button that can only be programed through the Belkin sw but they don't do any for OS X...oh well ;)

I got a 12" Powerbook on monday and i love it.

I've been a windows user since forever and after a week with this powerbook i'm fairly used to OS X.

Just remember Versiontracker.com and the Macnn.com forums and you'll be fine.

You can always use a different mouse, OSX supports mice with some insane number of buttons (like 30 something), and you can always just INSTALL LINUX. :)
