Everyone hates Matrix 2 and 3...except for me and a few other cool folks :) I thought that they weren't quite as good as the original, but worthy sequels nonetheless.

I saw people start bashing these movies in the V for Vendetta thread and felt I needed to come "out of the closet" so to speak.

I predict V for Vendetta will be sweet, and I like to think that I am not a 'slow' person or a brainwashed sheep.

That is all, carry on

skip past the rave scene on reloaded and i'm cool with it. thank goodness for dvd.
i'm neutral on revolutions, though i really liked the attack on zion scenes (squids vs. those machines the humans had)

What, do you want a :cookie: or something?

"Everyone hates Matrix 2 and 3...except for me "

Thats the truth, and I'm sure your right - you'll also be the only person who will like that crappy "V" movie

Yeah, personally I liked all the Matrix movies. Granted, the last two aren't as good as the first, but they were still worth seeing. I'll probably see V for Vendetta, but only because I'm a big Alan Moore fan (heck, if I saw League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in the theater, I can sit through V).

Yea, all I wanted was a cookie...and to defend what I thought were good movies

I saw Revolutions for sale at Fry's for like 9.99 which made me sad, but atleast it's cheap for me!

Edited OP to include the other Matrix fans

If you can watch a movie purely for entertainment, without over analyzing every aspect, flaw, or change in the story, you'll probably like revolutions/reloaded.

With that said, I loved them. Best of the 3, yes, was the original. But I found them all to be a good time.

Matrix 2 and 3 aren't bad in their own right, it's just that they don't come anywhere near fulfilling the promise of the original.

i liked matrix 2 and 3 as well, just weren't as good as the first one and had some stupid things in em.

EDIT: and you have to remember what forum this is. it's full of people who are angry at the world and think negatively about a lot of stuff and can't watch a movie for whats its worth and think that Jessica Alba is fat and ugly and also hate all mainstream crap.

I liked the highway chase scene in Reloaded, but I could of done without the dumb rave scene. And the restaurant scene, especially the beautiful Monica Belluci was very good. And the fighting Agent Smiths was pretty over the top. If he could just fly away why din't just do it right away? LOL. Revolutions seemed too much like a filler episode to me. Trouble was it didn't really seem to fill in much. Entertaining but nothing I would care to watch over and over like the first installment. I'm sure I'll find V enjoyable at least as 2 hours of escapism.
