They do. The Oxford English Dictionary.

Hmm I think it's missing somethings, like gammon being ham in america.

btw... gammon is bacon. it's just a different cut.. but still considered bacon

so your thread is saying "i like bacon.. but i prefer bacon"

Nope, it's saying "I like bacon... but I prefer gammon" in the same way that I might say "I like scrambled eggs, but I prefer fried"

That's a separate affliction you have there.

True.

I agree.

It's ham, for everyone else. I googled it. HAL, have you ever googled something instead of asking in a thread about something you weren't familiar with?

Then he wouldn't have the opportunity to create yet another tag with hal9000 is awesome...

I'm sure it's good, but have you ever seen gammon icing? I think not.

In other news, it took us about a week to get through our leftover Thanksgiving ham.

Gammonaise doesn't have an appealing ring

THIS THREAD IS NOW ABOUT BACON AND BACON PRODUCTS

You know what's scary? If you google "gammonaise" your post comes up as 1 of only 2 matches. They've gotten fast.

Yum, lots of ham sandwiches?

I really, really wish you folks had a different word for bread than we did, just so I could have gone for the irony.

I'll have to settle for this: Gammon sandwiches.

The review was merely two words: Shit sandwich.

;)
