I am leaving at 4 today to begin my 4 years at Virginia Tech. While normal move-in doesn't occur until the 18-19th, I'm goin in early because of my Marine Corps ROTC scholarship. i will sadly be absent for about a week in which time I will be yelled and screamed at and made to tell everyone the difference between a rifle and a gun...Adios and i'll be back next sunday. Adios.

virginia tech is a great place, you'll have a lot of fun.

too bad you'll be dorming in the upper quad...aka the ghetto. i lived their my freshman year (not a cadet though), inhaled a lot of smoke from the power plant.....mmmmm cancer.

I hope India has cleaned up it's act - they were a joke when I was there. In fact they disbanded them for awhile, I guess enrollment is up! Of course this is 15 years ago.

Good luck! The VTCC is a great experience.

I expect you'll like blacksburg.. my husband and I are both (old) hokies.. it's a beautiful place, blacksburg. I'd love to still live in those mountains.
