I know very little about networking

Okay so I've got two computers:
1) Win XP, ethernet, DSL modem, AMD 1700+
2)WIn 98 Second Edition, AMD 400, no ethernet port

I tried this Diamond phoneline network 10 mbps, but i cnat get it to work.

So i guess its on to the router..... What should I get if I want to share files, share a printer, and share my dsl thats compatible with XP???

I reccomend a linksys router. You will need a network card for that 98 machine though.
