I have a mobo with an AGP 4x Slot, right not I would like to purchase a Geforce 4 TI4200. however, all the cheap ones are AGP 8x. Will an AGP 8x Card still run on my 4x Slot? Also, Would I just be better off with a Geforce3 TI200?

I just replaced my old GF3 Ti200 last night with this ASUS card from Newegg, and the difference was amazing. By the end of the night, with stock cooling, it was running at 320MHz core and 690MHz RAM, and it beat my old 3DMark score by over 4,300.

i put my gainward geforce 3 in my g/f's computer and personally upgraded to an albatron geforce 4. there is a noticeable improvement in speed and quality. agp 8x is backwards compatible with agp 4x :)

Tnx for the responces. Will I take any big preformance hits for using a 8x card on a 4x slot rather then a 4x card on a 4x slot. (like If i where to run my tbird 1.4 on at a 200MHZ bus, giving me a 1.1)
