I felt obligated to post for some reason. Maybe b/c I like your online personality...maybe b/c I have an opinion....dunno.

But, IMO (no disrespect intended) I'm GLAD this is a "computer forum" or "PC forum" and not a "Kiddie Gaming console forum."

Do I own a Playstation? Yup. I haven't bought a game for it in years and I no longer play it, but there was a time when I was a Playstation freak.

The PROBLEM with having a Consoles Forum is that what will happen is it will be invaded by super cool L33t kiddies posting about the new "Senfu Gigapet vs. Lickshin Anime" fighting game.

AND the thread will consist of "OMG!!!!!!VVS!!!!!! WATERMELON!!! STFU!!!!" <---and other BS like that there.

IMO, I just don't feel it would be a worthwhile addition to the forum.

But, that's my opinion and everyone has one. 🙂

Hope we can still be friends now...it didn't just get "all weird" did it,Wingz? 😉

Sounds like a good solution would be to add consoles to OT, that forum is FUBAR anyway.

There are a lot of people here interested in consoles, and pretty much the only place to post about them is in the OT forum. Unfortunately, OT pretty much sucks for any decent conversations.

There are a lot of people here interested in consoles, and pretty much the only place to post about them is in the OT forum. Unfortunately, OT pretty much sucks for any decent conversations.

I play console games more often than I play computer games. I'd enjoy lurking in the forum.

Yep, me too. Even with Doom 3, Far Cry, and Call of Duty in my collection... I still play my Xbox about 10:1 over my PC.

But just like the ex-gf you just can't stay away from, I called her up at 3:00am one night and have been back at her place a lot lately. :roll:

Yes, bad idea. Gamefaqs and it's associated forums used to be useful, it's pretty much just trash (or the forums anyway) now. And, so, yeah.

Since getting into X-box I have spent inordinate amounts of time gaming on it and console related topics are of great interest to me now, so I would very much welcome a console specific forum/sub-forum.

Just because other message boards are "trash" doesn't mean that it would be the same on AT. Case in point, I'm sure you could find plenty of PC Hardware forums that are incredibly pointless, yet AT's hardware forum does quite well.
