I know not many New yorkers go to this forum, but this is for those that do or those out of state that may have this book.

Does anyone have an official preparation book for the "New York City Computer Programmer Analyst Trainee Civil Service Exam"? Exam "NYC Exam 20 NO.2070" specifically. Old books does not matter, just want to get a glimpse of the exam format, or the name of the manufacturer so I could get the most recent book. I am doing this just in case someone asks for me to take the exam before the job, or to make my resume look better.

Link to exam application info, only 1 - 2 weeks left to apply for exam. :(

I can't imagine that test can be that hard. With the lousy salary they're offering, I can't imagine that they get a ton of applicants.

I'd imagine that the benefits are good, but you could probably make more than working for Geek Squad.

Wow! $41K in NYC...

The test should consist of "point to the computer" and the only objects to choose from are a banana, a PC, and a small dog.
