A LITTLE paranoia isn't a bad thing, but it sounds like YOU'RE way past that point...some psychotherapy may be needed...

HOWEVER, remember this..."Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean the bastards aren't out to get you"...

I don't think like that and I take people at face value. However, every person has a dark secret or has done something they are not proud off.

Look at politicians who always try to look perfect. I don't care who it is, if you look deep enough, you will find something.

It's human nature and we are all part of it.

I've seen things ... you people wouldn't believe. Attach ships on fire off the shores of Orion. C-beams glittering in the darkness of the Tanhauser gates. These moments will be lost in time like tears in the rain.

+1 for the Blade Runner quote.

When are they going to release the fvcking 'Final Cut' DVD? I've been waiting forever for that to come out.

I see dead people. Walking around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're dead.

I recently found out that the "Director's Cut" I purchased wasn't the actual theatrical ending. I've been meaning to at least rent the original and check out the ending.

I saw the original on VHS, and the director's cut on DVD. I prefer the former, but I didn't understand why they didn't release both on one DL DVD.

I cannot believe you like the original ending. Quoth Wikipedia:
The 1982 American and European theatrical versions released by the studio included a "happy ending" (using stock footage from Stanley Kubrick's The Shining)

Please don't tell me you like the voice-over too.

I know what you mean.
For me I'll be driving down the freeway on the mountains, and I think to myself what If I just turn the steering wheel and crash into the mountains. I would go to the hospital for a while and get a brand new car. :)

You just never know what dark little secrets they are hiding. Even the nicest person has a dark side.
Maybe he is a pedophile, or killed someone, or raped someone.
Maybe she cheated on her husband, or had an abortion, or kills animals for fun.
It's not fun for me to think these things, I just cannot help it. People frighten me.

We all know what you've done and you should not be talking about others. How could you have done that? You make us sick.

I am afraid of what I don't know, AKA, the intentions of others.

If fear isn't used to solve a problem, it's a useless emotion.

We all fear things beyond our control. The next step is to decide the odds of those things happening, and then take steps to either reduce the risk or reduce the damage done when they do happen. The final step is to stop fearing, and just monitor the world around you and make changes as needed.

I STRONGLY doubt you really know yourself. Very, very few people do.
