I highly recommend for your first time doing it with a friendly dealer. Preferably someone that your friends or acquaintances know. In my experience they are very good about not overloading someone on their first time and making sure they get enough to enjoy it but not so much they freak out. After all they are looking for a potential customer not to chase someone away. For people in legal states, I don't know maybe do it with someone that is very experienced.

So...just another Thursday night?
It came from someone I trust but I think it was just more powerful than I can handle LOL. That and I was drinking too so that probably amplified it.
Takes the edge off, makes me giggle, enhances music and visual perception and then you just sleep like the dead with no hangover.

I used to be able to get high AF and then drink to my hearts content but if I was already drunk and got high the room would start seriously spinning on me. It'd be night night time![]()
Yeah alcohol consumption + pot is a definite trial and error thing. One or two drinks and an edible it's a good night. More drinks than that and I felt like I was in a V8 commercial and walking on an angle or sitting on a slope. I also go super flush feeling.
There are certainly people who have marijuana addiction. If you apply the criteria, 30% of users meet criteria for at least a mild use disorder. However, marijuana use disorder is much less likely to have serious consequence than the majority of things people label as "drugs". That said, marijuana's ability to alter someone's anxiety is exactly why it can be problematic. If you avoid confronting your problems and succeed in covering them up temporarily by using a substance instead of addressing the actual problem, then the problem is likely to get worse, and your ability to feel in control of your life independently will lessen. Of course, there is also the potential that using the substance will enable you to confront a problem you could not face without it. That would be a therapeutic use.
I'd call it psychologically addictive, with a dollop of tolerance added. You aren't gonna get DTs if you quit, but I've known plenty of people that are miserable fuckers if they aren't stoned all day long.I wouldn't call weed addictive it's not not even on the same scale as Alcohol or Opioids. Its like caffeine but of course its different to each individual. But we all know Opioids and alcohol can kill you outright. You cant kill yourself using weed in any reasonable manner.

Are you inferring caffeine isn't addictive?? There's a reason it is added to things...
Pot never worked right for me. And I have tried all kinds. I get the paranoid shit when I smoke weed. I prefer getting high on a nice single malt scotch.
I like a single malt as well but, smoking with friends is a whole nother level.Pot never worked right for me. And I have tried all kinds. I get the paranoid shit when I smoke weed. I prefer getting high on a nice single malt scotch.
