I cant seem to find where in the BIOS to raise the mobo bus speed. I have the AMD 1.33ghz chip with a MSI k7 master board. My system is telling me that the cpu speed is 1ghz and not 1.33ghz. I suspect that the bus speed is at 100 instead of 133 but I cant find where its at. PLEASE HELP

There is a jumper on the board that change the 100 mhz fsb and 133 mhz fsb. Should be around the battery (not the clear cmos battery) and I believe it's yellow.

Jay,
There has to be a jumper, look more carefully :)
My bet is its set on 100x10, instead of 133x10 :) good luck :)

Yep, I agree...get about 2 of these a week here...

Look at your mobo manual or go to the msi webpage and look at the configuration of the board...

The manual that came with the motherboard will tell you how to enable the 133Mhz FSb. It should have been enabled already considering that it is a selling point of that mobo. Good luck.
