XXX section online, same mailed envelopes where you cannot see the title without opening it, and no embarrassing moments for people to into the store and get/exchange them.

IIRC 10 years ago blockbuster got rid of all adult sections that they had.

Porn is available everywhere online...
Also, if you're too embarrassed to rent porn, you shouldn't be watching it :p

And you guys fail to realize, with all due respect, not everyone is a geek fapping off constantly in front of their computer in their mothers basement, who knows enough about computers. :p

Look at how busy XXX video rental places are and you'll see there is still a demand. A lot of my friends don't know crap about computers and would order it off of Netflix in a beat.

really? Didn't know that. Coupled with their watch now feature they'd take business away from Videosz.

The revenue generated by porn >> revenue generated by devoutly religious people.

depends on how successful they are in each market

It would work since most people wouldn't like to be seen near a port rental store or the like.

Buying online is also a problem since those idiots like to rent the buyer's name to other companies.

LOL, they would be their biggest customers for this material. Don't think for a minute that religious people are anti-sexual. They are not. They are just not Honest about it -- they hide it. To be fair, some repress it, until that can't anymore, most of whom are the ones committing those perverse sex crimes, like those priests you've been hearing about.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. My brother is very religious and I would get phone calls discussing my movie choices. I learned fast to have NO friends on Netflix

i switched from netflix to blockbuster video after over a year of netflix cause i get the free vids when i return my online dvd's.

but since i have to goto the store to return my mailers i end up keeping them longer and could probably watch just as many movies with netflix.

however, it is nice when i get a movie in my head to watch i can just head out and get it and watch it that night which has happened more than a few times, instead of having to wait.

as the netflix video on demand option becomes more prevalent, i think ill switch back though.

I doubt Netflix will ever be able to beat Blockbuster. Some people (me included) like being able to rent a movie on the spur of the moment to watch that night. Can't do that with Netflix.

They could easily make an option where no on else would be able to see history of those movies.
