Have to get this computer shipped out today and don't have time to pick up some more Arctic Silver. I have some Heat Sink Grease from Circuitworks, stable from -40C to 172C, guaranteed not to dry out, harden, or melt. I know grease is supposed to dry out on TBird because of the extremely hot core temp....but I don't have anything else. Will this work?

PS: This is on a 1.1ghz and a Globalwin FOP32-1.

if you could measure actual core temp, you'd probably see temps in the 30-40C over ambient case temp for heavily overclcoked t-birds(1.1ghz and higher).

maybe even a 70C core temp, if it measured core temp.
