Are you sure SHE is ready to date someone with a son, a diabetic at that? Most 21 year olds aren't necessarily ready to take on the role of a mother, especially to someone that needs extra attention. how old are you btw? I think ir ead somewhere on here 27?

It's a date, not a marriage proposal. Dinner and a movie will not get you shot by even the most conservative of fathers. If she wants more then it's up to her to tell her dad. Experience tells me that daddy's little girl rarely (re: never) tells her dad anything to ruin his vision of his darling, sweet heart, virgin daughter.

If you feel the need to confess after... well... it's your life.
