I know about TV tuners, but is there a Radio Tuner for the PC?

as title states.

looking for a PCI card that will serve as a Radio tuner to put in my PC. hey, if i'm gonna have these speakers and sound card and stuff, let's put them to use.

D-link also makes an external USB model, and it's not half bad. The software that comes with it is terrible at best, but there are solutions and ways around that.

Online "radio" stations need to realise that not everyone is on 56k and offer streams better than 44k. Best I've seen is 128k on mp3.com and that's not even live.

Musicmatch Jukebox offers a service called Radio MX
cost 5 bucks a month but if you have DSL you can get CD quality streams
can be customized to play genre specific or you can type a name of artist and it will play
similar artists as well also Era stations for all 80's 60's 70's so on,
Ive been subsrcibed for over 6mos and love it
cant imagine using anything else.

I have the Hauppauge wintv-radio which works great. But these guys are correct the internet radio is better, no commercials.
