I like the comments.

Do you know how they train some animals? some in this world are treat unkindly so they can achive things such as this. You know that some (not all) are poked with things for them to perform, such as the dancing bear. That to me looked painful&if these people didn't have nothing2hide then why didn't they show full view?So we can see the animal not being touch or poked&ok? some animals take abuse.Animals have the same rights as us humans.I felt sorry for he/she,its not a laughing joyfully sight.sry

I do believe this is real and people say there isnt a God!!!

Elephants also grieve the death of other Elephants. This is unheard of for any other mammal other than humans.

Elephants are smart. Very smart. Smart enough to kill people and raid villages.

Until I saw it paint the flower I thought it was pretty amazing for an Elephant to do on it's own, but now Im almost positive it was trained. Therefore, the only stereotype I can reinforce is "Elephant's never forget"

even primates?

I believe so. Primates may grieve the death of a child, but I saw on a nature show that if a heard of elephants pass the bones of another elephant they will all stop and surround the bones. They will hold the bones in their trunk as if to give their condolences to the death. As I describe this I don't thnink most Humans will do this.

At first I was impressed with the elephant, wondering if it could in fact recognize itself, its own species and contemplate its own existence, but seeing it finish the painting I realized it was indeed trained to paint each line. Elephants are very smart animals but not quite human smart.

It had to have been trained. It's still amazing. I liked how deliberate and sure each stroke of the brush was.

It's generally frowned upon in Human society to dig up graves to manhandle the corpse.

A few points:

1) I see no mirror, how is this a self-portrait? It's just some elephant, obviously.

2) If that is a self-portrait that elephant severely underestimates his own fatness. Lose some weight, fat ass.

3) Learn some fucking shading and texturing dumb ass, this is a drawing of an elephant: http://wildlife-artworks.com/drawings/african/images/african_elephant.jpg

Overall I'm not impressed, I can draw way better than this elephant. If you want me to stop eating elephant burgers you're going to have to spend more than 8 minutes on a painting.
