Damn :(:(:( I wish AMD would make a better way of protecting their CPUs from heat. A heat spreader would be very nice, as would a internal temp shutdown type thing.

Well here are the details and why it is my own damn fault! RRRRRR

I have an Epox 8k3ae that is using a Duron to crunch seti. The reason I have it is because my I was building this for a friend and discovered that the XP1800 does not work with this board, so I gave hime one of my MSI boards I got back from RMA. So being that it has been a few months I totally forgot about the 1800 issue and bought one to replace the Duron. So when I tried to fire it up and remembered why it was crashing I decided to switch out the 1800 for a 1700 I have to see if we get the same issue. That is when I heard the pop and realized that I had put the HS on backwards so it was not making contact well enough. I should know better but I have been messing with this system for a few days and it was very late at night and I was very tired. I just wanted to pump out a few more WU's. Oh well. I guess I will check the FS/FT forums once I can get a few bucks together.

If you see any wierd miss spelled words that have a xc in it, it is because my keyboard is messing up and when I hit the "c" I get a xc.....oh well!

Well I have a 1.33ghz tbird coming. It was all I could find for $50 total. That is all I had to spend. I am however going to save my B-day money and I have a few side jobs on the horizon that I will save the profit from and I am going to hopefully get myself a 2800XP. So hopefully in a month or two. But in the meantime I will be making a nice new keychain this weekend with my dead green tbred! RIP!
