Well I sent it back today. I didn't mention that I shorted the leads on the fan1 header. I was checking what the voltages were, to make sure my fan was wired correctly. I got a nice spark, luckily this was before I had any peripherals or cpu on it. when I did get the cpu I get no video. It boots, beeps 4 times and then shuts down. I tried a brand new fan on the fan1 header and nothing. When I boot w/o the cpu it just sits there, no beeps not anything. Now I have to figure a way to test the cpu b4 the warranty runs out.

The reason I was checking the voltage is because i had to pull it from the 3wire plug cause it burned up the header on the old mobo epox mvp3c2. fan still works fine though. just to make sure I picked up a new fan, and that didn't help either. oh well, I've learned my leason. Don't put metal objects where they don't belong.
