Firefox started screwing up with flash, and the nsviewer.bin was eating up all my cpu and I was having to kill the process everytime. I read somewhere that people were getting it to work my removing nspluginwrapper. Well, I tried that and now I get a black screen after the Ubuntu loading screen. I can hear the drum music thing on the login though. I'm also using Compiz-Fusion if it makes a difference. I'm going to try "sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg" when I get home to see if I can get into vesa.

Help?

Alright. I got back with vesa, then had no trouble switching back to ati driver and compiz. FF still doesn't like flash sites like youtube, and stops responding. I can get to AT fine though, so I'm pretty sure it's a flash problem.

Same avatar, I would have never noticed haha. I do believe there were issues with flash and AMD64, although those might have been resolved by now.

Removing nspluginwrapper wouldn't have affected your Xorg config, something else happened.

Well, that's confirmed. I used the script here and got flash working, but about 30 seconds it completely froze up. All I was doing was watching a youtube video and using pidgen. Is there a generic log file i can look up?
