Ever read "Insomnia" by Stephen King?

This is how it all starts...
you'll start waking eralier and earlier, and then you'll start seeing auras and before you know it you'll be visted by one of the 3 fates....

uh oh.....

I call those "weekdays". I have to be in at 5 AM from 1 to 3 days a week. I don't mind getting up early, but switching my schedule around every other day sucks.

I was thinking the same thing. Only, I never finished the book 'cause it got stupid.

You can try going to bed an hour later to see if you can get an extra hour in there...

It's actually 90 minute intervals. The theory is that you have to sleep 90, 180, 270, 360, 450, 540... minutes for complete freshness!

holy cow! me too man! I usually wake up at 6am and I wake up a minute before. Then as I'm laying in bed or when I'm in the bathroom...ERRR ERRR ERRR. My digital alarm has the most annoying sound in the world lol.
if im watching a movie or tv or something and i hear that noise, i shudder because i cant stand that sound. it doesnt help that i dont get any radio station reception in here, so i have to deal with it.

ROFL I do the same thing. It makes me jump whenever I hear it on a tv show.

I'm also a very light sleeper...if I hear any noise I wake up. I have to have my computer in my room off, I can't sleep with the noise. I don't like camping much because of this reason...I just wake up real easy.

I often wake up needing to use the restroom.

I don't drink a whole lot before sleeping. I have a glass of water about an hour before I go to sleep. I could avoid fluids entirely for a few hours before sleeping, but I don't want to become dehydrated at night while sleeping.

I have long since stopped using an alarm clock for this reason. I will wake up anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes before I need to every day, even when the time differs each day of the week.

Of course the question is whether or not I actually get out of bed in time. But that's just as hard with or without an alarm clock.
