I keep getting head pimples, usually 4 or 5 at a time. And it's embarrassing because I have light hair. I shampoo every day but still get head pimples so will using a clarifying or deep cleaning shampoo help?

I have also had pimples on my head, underneath my hair for the last couple years. I have not yet figured a solution but so far it has helped to:
  • purchase two different shampoos one regular and one conditioning; and
  • wash my hair less often, each 2-3 days.

I used to wash my hair daily. Because of the daily washing, my hair produced an excess of oil. Now my hair produces less oil.

On the days I do not wash my hair, I rinse it with water only. The second day at first was oily but then regulated itself and became normal.

Day 1: Wash with organic shampoo.
Day 2: Rinse with water only.
Day 3: Rinse with water only.
Day 4: Wash with moisturizing shampoo.
Day 5: Rinse with water only.
Day 6: Rinse with water only.
Day 7: Start the cycle over again.

See how many days you can go inbetween washing with shampoo. A person should be able to get up to 5 days, easily. Remember, only in the last 60 years or so have we washed our hair on a daily basis. Our hair is better left unwashed. There was a time in the 50's when people actually added oil to their hair to give it a healthy shine. We have kind of gone too far from that and now overwash our hair and dry it out too much. This excess dryness causes the scalp to create excess oil, thereby causing pimples.

That's the herps, Dude.

I'm a Doctor and I agree with this post. Sounds like someone has been peeking through the gloryhole at the wrong moment.

Stop visiting those bathrooms and wash your hands.

Doesn't matter, it's the FRONT of your head that's really going to turn people off...

I had hairline acne at one time and dandruff shampoo helped with that quite a bit. It might help you with your problem.

Clean your keyboard! Isopropyl that bitch. Find whatever the source of bacteria is for your face, if its a work keyboard, some pen you always use, whatever. Clean it with isopropyl alcho.
