I keep losing my rear channel on my C-Media audio !!!

Dang I'm doing something wrong here.... About every month or so I lose my rear channel.

It's the onboard audio from C-Media (CMI8738)... I know that my rear out and my line-in use the same jack..... But I'm not changing anything.

I did just order the Phillips AE sound card, but I HATE not knowing what the hech is going wrong here !!!!

Anyone have an idea ?
