I keep hearing my hard drive being accessed, every few seconds/minutes itll access

its the same sound pattern everytime. this is the first time ive ever heard this. does anyone have any idea what this might be?

maybe it writes everytime you post on ATOT?

Could be Auto Insert Notification on your CDROM drive. It would happen to me all the time with Win98 and when I turned AIN off it stopped.
