man..i wish they made the inspiron 6000 with the glossy display...the 700m is so nice but too small for my needs...and the keyboard, ugh! Anyways, whatis the difference between sxga and xga? is it just resolution? same goes for uxga and sxga?
 
The difference is just resolution.

Maybe you won't like the glossy display anyway, I think you'll see more glare with that.. 🙂
 
I just got a Toshiba with a glossy display, I don't mind the glare one bit. The good thing is the screens are flat, not like CRTs so I think that might help some. Though no doubt glossy has nothing on matt in certain situations, so far the crispness is winning out for me at least.
