Right now i'm installing windows xp on it....

i bought it a while ago fromthe killer open box deals from newegg -- it came brand new to me. :)

it is so great!!

however, i don't know if i want to put a dvdrom or a cdrw in there.....and i don't even know what i am going to use it for!
ahahahah

why don't you spend 60 bucks (pricewatch) and get the latest samsung combo drive.

16x dvd 48x24x48 burner. rawr.

oh that's a nice option..

i think i'll just stick w/a dvd-rom, since i really don't have a need to put a burner in there.

in my main tower, i have a plextor cdrw, and a sony dvd+-r drive

my laptop has a burner too.

I have an LG combo drive with simular speed ratings in my SS51G. I would recommend it!

combo drive then put a media card reader in, instead of a floppy I love the apacer ones from newegg, and they are usb 2.0

i think i'll just leave my dvdrom in it...

i want it to be a HT pc..

the flopy is cool, but i've never thoguht of those memory readers...that would be awesome

but i have a problem.

the svideo output is all jacked up. the colors are too intense. i dont' want to adjust the tv everytime i use my shuttle...

any way to fix this?

Umm - use an svideo connection for your current television use? Svideo is always better than using a composite cable or coax.
