CT2TXtech, an all-to-common problem in the for sale/for trade forums of most boards like Anandtech is that some "people" (trolls) like to use other people's Heatware as their own. This tends to lull the buyer into a false sense of security. At ths point it is a LOT easier to get you to send payment. If you email the person with the 93 positive heat AND the same guy responds, you should be OK. If a guy responds that has no idea what you are talking about then thats no good. Good luck ...

you seem overly worried about this. with almost 100 postitive heatware evals and not negatives, i really doubt you have much to worry about.

ive done alot of deals with peopel here and i check heatand if they have 20+ refs i dont bother emailing them i just talk over PMs ive never been screwed, buying or selling
