yup. agreed.... but we don't know the full story. it could have been that he was going to the store for something for the kids' breakfast or something and the warrants were unpaid parking tickets because he decided to pay for food for his kids rather than a parking ticket.

Thanks for the cliffs. I don't don't think it's you're fault though. How were you supposed to know that he had outstanding warrants?

Technically it could have been an unpaid traffic ticket. If the guy left a 14 year old in charge he did nothing wrong on that front. Here the legal age is 13 to babysit.

BUT. All I have to go by is some guys post on a forums so meh. I hope the OP feels like he did the right thing.

exactly... we don't know the full story. we don't know what these warrants are from.

maybe he couldn't make a court date or something because his kids needed him or something... maybe it was a parking ticket... etc.

with that said, i think you still did the right thing... it's just a bad situation, especially if the warrants were really minor.

...and maybe the OP shouldn't feel bad because he made the best decision he could given the information available to him.

Yeh. And maybe the guy was working a graveyard shift so he could care for his kids in the daytime. We could speculate forever.

Yes. And if it was, the guy's dad sent himself to jail by not paying the traffic ticket.

Im not making excuses but painting the man as a villian without knowing why is retarded.

oh shut up... "my name is bomberman... i'm hard... i don't need feelings..."

if he's poor and doesn't have money to spend on a ticket and would rather pay for bread for his kids, i think it's understandable why he didn't pay the ticket...

But you don't know that. For all we know he could have been going to court for possession, trafficking, child neglect or any number of things. So you're only speculating as to the "innocence" of this guy that left his kids at home alone at 3 a.m. and was walking around the neighborhood.

that's what i said... we don't know. so, it's kinda messed up for people to say "he deserved it" without knowing why he had warrants. this bomberman guy's trying to sound all tough and stoic and that's why i called him out.
