I'm stuck here at work after missing the last bus that runs by here that can take me home. My mom always says that if I miss it that I can call her and she'll drive way the hell out here and get me. I work either 16 or 19 miles away from home (I'm dislexic at times and can't remember right now). It takes me nearly an hour and a half or two hours to get here via public transportation.
Anyway, I'm sitting here calling the house trying to get her. She's having her room painte, so she's sleeping in a room with no phone. I called the neighbor and had her go over (with her cordless phone) and knock on the door, call my mom's name through the windows, break some windows, get the dog to bark, etc. Finally, after 10 minutes of yelling and making a ruckus, my mom gets up and is like "WHAT!? WHO'S THERE?!
The dog was barking like crazy and she was dead asleep. Now I get my ride home.
ahhhhhhh such a perfect (and very funny) ending to a quite stressful night.
*sigh* I can sleep well now.
