I just saw some lady give her ~14 year old kid a lighter...

I'm standing in line at Burger King waiting for this lady and her daughter to order. After taking about 10 mins to order a couple of chicken sandwiches, the lady pulls out a lighter and give it to her daughter. Who then goes outside and starts smoking. WTF?! There's no way that girl was over the age of 14. I'd guess even young than that. What kind of parent encourages their kids to smoke?

I smoked when I was 12 and didn't hide it. I was the last of 4 kids and by then they just didn't want me to get arrested.

They were also old school and they smoked when they were my age.

I actually wish they would have stopped me as it took me 15 years to stop; haven't touched a cigarette in 3 years this month.

Ive got 20 year old cousins who look like they are 12.

Ive also got 12 year old cousins that look like they are 20.

I dont see how you could accurately guess her age just from looking at her.

My brother's old room mate(who sold pot) would tell him about this one woman who would buy from him often. She'd always bring her kid with her to weigh the pot to make sure she wasn't getting ripped off.

Some parent got on a school bus to get her daughter 'to handle business' with another girl. They arrested the mother she had prior arrests and appartently was now leading her kids into it. They gave her 364 days in jail and 6 months probation. It was a debated sentence since she has three kids...

I wonder why they didnt just give her the full year? Wouldnt it be easier to say "One year sentence" than "three hundred and sixty four day sentence"
