Holy shiet... i don't know jack about muscle cars... let alone domestic cars... but i do have respect for them. When I saw this car in Gone in 60 seconds... it was a nice enough car... kinda of cheesy when they made it outrun the helicopter but oh well... it didn't catch my attention then. But when I saw one today on a trailer bed... it looked like it was in the middle of being restored... all primer... no glass... no lights... but geez you could see the shape... and that was one badass shape in person... :Q... makes me wanna get one... 😕 although i know nothing about restoring cars either... hehe... oh well... that ugly primered car definitely got my attention. 😀
 
shelby gt500 i posted the link in a dream cars thread... *cough cough*

it is a sweet machine. the pic above is a modded one, made for the movie, but the real one does have a similiar design, but not quite there... if you google it up, you should be able to find one. i would love to see one, havent seen one in a good while.

I was looking at those bluish foglights by the headlights and i was like... hmmm... 1967 eh? lol... supposedly that's the GT500E made for the movie like what anxi80 said... E for Eleanor... and it cost almost so freakin much... either way... GT500 or GT500E... :Q... one badass car. 🙂
 
dude.. come to london.. outside my hotel, on new bond street.. sorta like time square of ny. 4 ferrari and 2 aston martin db7 and a mclaren f1 which I shot off my camcorder..

they dont have much parking here, so all these nice fancy cars are out on the street. So there was 1.25 million dollar worth of cars sitting outside my hotel.

i see more BMW/Mercedes in my town then Honda/Toyota's. I swear you could see 100 325, 330's, or CLK/SLK/C/E/S class and not see the same one twice over here. Then I drive my car...
 
My friend built an EXACT replica of the Shelby GT500 featured in the movie "Gone in Sixty Seconds". Everything is the same, down to the "Go Baby Go!" shift knob to the Gas/ Brake pedals!!!
 
Has anybody seen the origional (1974) "Gone in Sixty Seconds"? It has one of the best and the longest (40 mins) chase scenes I've ever seen. In that one they used a 1973 Mustang Mach 1 as Eleanor, which is in the big chase. I suggest anyone see it, especially the commentary on the DVD.
