I just saw a 4 prop engined aircraft circling my neighbourhood

It is huge and seems to have a blueish green colour from what I could see.

I haven't heard a droning like that in years.

But there is one is St. Thomas which is not far from here. It must have something to do with this because I just saw a fly by of 5 CF-18 Hornets. Holy crap they're loud.

Further research shows that the 4 prop job may have been a C-130 HERCULES.

I saw a B-17 (? - it was a 4-engine US WWII bomber with a normal tail (IIRC)) fly over my school last week. Pretty cool stuff.
