Only other sacrifice i would have made would have been raw size vs. crt, as the LED tv's are starting to drop in price rather quickly. Thanks the modern life. I mean its different ya,, I was expecting input lag in FPS games and overall mouse movent and picture movemtn or videos,,

But this 1MS is amazing NO input lag,,, no ghosting,, just like my CRT ,, soo Im really happy.

lfear ,, Its amazing.. Like my cousins LG 24" 2ms has input lag and mouse is laggy ,, soo I did not know what to execpt.. to my happiness and shock there is no mouse input lag its smooth and instant,, and no ghosting,, gaming felt amazing UT3 and blackOps.....

I recommend this monitor to any gamer or video or image buff,, thanks gg and gl ,
 
Hey is it possible to do a input lag test against yer old crt monitor to actually see if there is any differnce in lag input??? i would love to know.."You should" ,maybe you might be surprised and shocked with the output of the test results LOl..

I have that monitor also but not a computer crt to compare it to for input lag.. Hey last thing Colors,blacks and contrast you think on this monitor is better than the crt??? I only use lcd panels for some time now and finaly got rid of a 27 in crt trintron tv and fell into the lcd hype and have been buying diff panels for years to try and match what my crt looked like.Great contrast, blacks and control over sharpness. For now i think i'm brain washed along with alot of others thinking lcd's are on par with crt's LOL...

6 lcd compter monitors, 1 hdtv/monitor, a 46inch plasma returned three differnt sammy models becuase of ghosting three times for 46 lcd samsung.."major input lag.Now i have this P2770FH that looks good but just want to know if it has input lag which i think it does but can not prove..

🙂 My Sony Trinitron is now my server monitor that gets turned on twice a year or so... I can't let it go... its the most expensive monitor I have ever purchased!

Wow, congrats on your new monitor!

I'm rocking a twin pair of KDS 26" LCDs. They are TN, but don't suffer too much from viewing angle problems. They do have a bit of backlight bleed on the left and right sides though. It doesn't bother me much. I helped my friend get one too. Mine are at eye level, but his is elevated slightly, so there's some white-shift, when viewing forums. Top of screen will be greyish, but bottom of screen will be white.

Still, the picture quality is generally superb. Samsungs are better still.

Nope, I still got 2x21" Sony CRT's...I don't wan't to downgrade my I.Q. to save "space" on my desk 😛

Enjoy your geometry defects and out of focus corners plus those damper wires across the screen😉,each to their own I guess ,no way would I go back to inferior CRT 🙂.

Enjoy your fake black, square block graphis and wanna be dynamic range.

If I wan't the I.Q. of an LCD, I have to wrap my screen in plastique foil and put a big spotlight behind them.

Like I said to another poster:
come back you you find a LCD that isn't a downgrade in I.Q. from my CRT's.

Ball in your court.

(funny that poeple will spend +1000 dollars on GPU's...only to make it a joke but dopping the ball between the GPU and the eyes)

Monitor came out in November its nice touch screen,touch button ,


Soo far Im getting used to the resolution . Coming down from 2304res ,, I see soo much now things I didnt notice with that res cuz it was soo small. I played UT3 and BlackOps and the mouse is not laggy at all and it just like CRT in a way. The aim is excellent, the picture quality is superb. Gaming is nice and desktop is nice. Also made Sonar look very sexy,, thx all,,

I too have 2x 21" sony tubes in dell p1130 monitors.

Do people here really think you have poor corner focus in these monitors? I find a lot of the negative comments come from individuals who have never used a high quality crt. A friend of mine recently bought a supposedly very good 24" lcd (based on reviews), and in side by side comparisons with my dell 21" was very disappointed in the lcd.

I guess I'll stay a dinosaur.

I'm wondering this too.

I am angry at my FW900 because it is not displaying reds properly and has a bluish tint all over it. Other than that I love having a CRT even in the year 2011. I'm actually thinking of getting a 22" Diamondtron if I can still find a good one.

Hold off on tossing out the old crt's to try out the P2770FH..I have one and i will spare you the PAIN..

Yeah it does have lag more or less on the fastest setting and some on the lower settings but not as noticable as fastest and it does ghost also. Why u ask?? I have no idea maybe its beacuse i have it hooked up to an xbox360 slim and
not playing pc games??

I have performed the lag test and yup in occasions it is behind the crt monitor sometimes by 20ms sometimes by 10ms but only when its in fast mode..In Fastest mode it is just behind more often than being just alil off by about the same or more sometimes its hit or miss when running lag test thats if i'm even doing it right...LOl

Out of 10 snapshots with digital camera i would get, when set to fastest mode 3-4 lag behinds when looking at the lag test clock of LCD P2770Fh compaired to the CRT..

In the just fast mode you will get less hits maybe 1-2 outta ten by about the same time 20ms sometimes others its 10..Hmmm i will take more pics and post them when i find out how to post them because i'm a noob at posting on forums...
