I just rented fahrenheit 9/11... what should I expect?

A movie that should be watched purely for entertainment, not for political knowledge.

that movie literally gave me a headache a half hour into it. I wanted to watch it to try to understand the other side better, but I failed.

A well-intentioned doc. with the whole of it produced with out of context material.

Well, some footage of the 2000 inauguration ceremony that will blow your mind because national news never carried it.

An awkward moment where MM tries to act consoling to a woman who lost her kid in Iraq. Sort of like the awkward moment in BFC where he does the same thing to the principal.

Fortunately, as big of an asstard as MM is, he really only got offensive like that once or twice in the film (IOW, much less than in BFC)

It was never well-intentioned. If you think anything that Michael Moore ever does is well-intentioned, you need to do your homework on him.

Its a BS movie just like all his other movies. He always cuts scenes out of context to try an prove his point. I never voted for Bush, but I still think most of his movie was garbage. This movie, ironically may of even helped Bush get elected!

Its an entertaining movie, I'll give it that. A lot of the information is wrong and facts are twisted though.

Actually it is virtually 100% true (I think the only proven lie is the wrong newspaper name on one of the closeups). But, and here is a big "but": it trys hard to make you jump to incorrect conclusions. If you believe the incorrect conclusions, then you are believing lies. But if you watch it and think, then you can spot where it tries to make you come to the wrong conclusions. If you can achieve that state of mind, it honestly is a pretty good show.

And it really isn't very much anti-Bush. It is a lot more anti-war. So many people who haven't seen it or haven't seen it all just don't know what it is about.

A lot of so-called facts are twisted to help his agenda, and a lot of material is out of context, but the greatest thing the movie does is highlight the dangerous games the neocon's are playing.
