sorry for the long wait guys....i talked to tank guys and they said they could get l629as and 630as but when i recieved it it was a l628b...so i was very happy and greatfull

im able to boot 3.6 with 1.475 set in bios...however the cpu is able to do more but this crappy board sux and wont let it happen....guess its new motherboard time...lol

you sure u r board limited? that asus board should easily do 440+. if you r looking for a high fsb board, i'd recommend the Asus P5B deluxe. its a 965 board but getting 500+ fsb has been easy for it.

however, clock for clock the 965 is a little (i mean a little as in minute) slower than the 975 but I,m sure u already knew that! 🙂

i would say it is my board..but still now 100 percent sure...i know its not heat...im running 34 c at full load....im still trying to figure and play with some stuff...i water cool both my cpu and my sb....im still trying some stuff though

Tankguys is the only retailer who will specifically sell a stepping and week to order.

Others will just grab a box and pack it in to ship and it doesn't matter what stepping it is.

ill tell you what tank guys has been great...they had their dealer drop ship it straight to my house...it only took 1 day to get here!!! i was very pleased with what they offered....they really go above and beyond customer service!!! I WILL BUY THERE AGAIN!!! thanx again guys!!!!
