i had my desk chair for like a little more then two years, and was always pissed becuz it did not have the option to lift up. then eventually, i discovered that it did have that option, so i tried to get it working. it didn't work, so i assumed that either it was broken, or i put the chair together wrong. then just now, i was messing with my chair and i turned the lever really hard and my chair dropped like two inches. wth? so i got up off the chair and turned the lever again, and the chair shot up like four inches. woohoo! so i guess my chair always had the vertical height adjustment feature, but i was unable to figure it out :D

I had a friend who attached the seat cushion to the base the wrong way around. If you weren't careful, when you would try to sit in the chair it would tilt forward and try to dump you out! :D

spanky if it makes you feel better, it took me 4 years to figure out that I had to push a slide lever inside my trunk engaging the feature to get the interior trunk lever to work.

here's my retarded story...

i was young when i did this. i had one of those tiger electronics star trek hand held lcd games, and i could never play the game because the graphics would never change. it was always the same picture on screen, and i never knew what was going on. that is, of course, until a long time later when i found it in my closet and learned that i could peel the plastic sheet off the game's lcd display. boy did i feel like an ass.
