I just realized something interesting today.

If you dont count the Radiant quests, theres a LOT more stuff to do in a single game of Skyrim than there is in Fallout 4.
Crafting is mostly a chore in both games. And home building seems like lots of fun until you realize it doesnt actually impact the game.

I will say that companions in Fallout 4 are a heck of a lot better. They have personalities and desires and unique quests. However, outside of the followers, the factions in Skyrim are actually better. More diverse and better quests/backgrounds. In particular, I found the gangs of Nuka World to be quite boring and uninspired.

Skyrim is better than FO4, but both games are meh at best.

Oblivion/Fallout 3 were the peak in both series, and morrowind is even better if you can handle its quirks.

Don't both games have "radiant quests" that are randomly generated? They might be called something different in each game
