For all non-cantonese speakling ATOTer's the Cantonese word 'Cha' means :

1. Person of Dark skin (not black) from middle east/india.
2. Fork
3. Tea

Although they have slightly different tones that are only discernable by cantonese speaking people (9 different tones I think).

Tea is pronounced differently in comparison to the other two.

There are others: to spread (ie butter), to look up (ie dictionary), bad, difference, (cha but dor).

Its really hard for me to say the variances. Most of the time people figure it out strictly based on context.
