Yeah you're lucky. As a teenager I used to hate that sound the modem made while i snuck into the family computer room in the middle of the night to "play solitaire." I always thought that dialing sound could wake up my parents and they'd walk in on me while I was playing "solitaire." It would be quite embarassing to be caught with a full deck in my hands.

OH MY GOD THAT WAS HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!

HAHAHA THAT HAD ME LAUGHING SO HARD I STARTED COUGHING! HAHAHAHAH

I'm glad my childhood trauma amuses you;)

Hhahaa, it's funny cause i did the same thing too.

Remember those crazy pop-ups that you would frantically try to close before anybody walked into the room. You think you've nailed them all until your mom walks to see what "research was so important you had to do it in the middle of the night" and BAM a pop up with the "moneyshot" comes up on your monitor. Wish they had popup killer back when I was becoming a man.

Haha... man but i was the master of early internet porn. I would get the door on lock, do my business, then clear history like nothing ever happened.

And clear the cache lol
Clear the cache? More like wipe the keyboard and monitor. Ya gotta think of the obvious first. Duh!

Haha man that's rotten... i don't think i could do that to my family and let it get on my monitor and keyboard. You gotta be ready for the big finish haha.

But then again, this thread has gone way too far.

After having broadband for a year, I had to use dial-up last night at a client's and it sucked.
