I just ran some benchmarks with the new 9x Radeon drivers...not impressed.

On Quake III, I lost about 3 fps, on Evolva, there was no change, and MDK2 actually locked up after the benchmark was run, leaving the desktop distorted and forcing me to ctrl-alt-del. So, unless someone finds something good about these, I'll be going back to the 7062s.

It seems after reading comments that you will get a boost after doing a fresh install and go directly to the 7062's and not the cd. There may be something funky by installing them over a previous version.

Well, I did the whole "uninstall the original, delete the .inf files" thing. No boost for me.

I find that the 7041 are the best. They are faster in Q3 and tend to run D3D games a bit smoother.

Another vote for 7041's. I didn't like 7062. The 7068's were better, but not as good as 7041.
