I just PWNT a guy on ebay stealing my bandwidth...

Seems a guy one ebay stole my layouts I use when I sell items on ebay. Well the sneaky guy was even using the files I had on my web server for his ebay pages! So basically he was using my bandwidth for free which is not cool. So what I did was since he was pointing to a gif file on my website for his background for his auctions, I changed the gif file to an animated gif! The best part is, all his completed auctions cannot be modified so it is stuck like that forever! I told the guy I would remove it for $1,000 to my paypal account! haha sucker.

EDIT : YES IT IS SAFE FOR WORK! It's the fat kid from The Goonies doing the truffle shuffle!

I like the one where an ebayer was stealing an OTer's bandwidth by using a pic of a projector.

The OTer added a "2 for 1!!" legend to the pic.

Another OTer bought the projector, figuring that if he got one he needed it anyway, and if he got two he was doing good.

The second OTer posted all the email exchanges between himself and the flummoxed seller who had "advertised" two for one without knowing it. I believe the OT buyer let the seller off the hook finally.

I was checking my access logs on my website and noticed a lot of hits from ebay so i followed it back and voila! BUSTED. Oh man, I still can't stop laughing!
