I just pulled SO many weeds...

I filled a 5 gallon bucket twice, packed full as tight as I could get it and overflowing with pulled weeds. Then I filled it about halfway and left it like that for now. This is the second time I've done this since I moved in two weeks ago, but with the weeding and actual watering, I think it's already improved from one of the worst lawns ever to just a pretty poorly maintained lawn.

Oh, and this lawn can't be much more than 500 square feet. several 5 gallon buckets of weeds (a lot were 1-2 feet tall) is a LOT for a 500sq. ft. lawn.

Just make sure you apply the right sprays so they stay away for sure. As in, if you see one next week, dont' just let it sit there, those suckers will spread all again

get some weed killer.. roundup is too powerful but it will work but might kill your monocot grass....

weeds are usually dicots, and weed killers like roundup is a bit too strong for it. However I suggest getting the weaker stuff... it will get the job done.. faster than pulling weeds out...

if your going to use roundup, becareful its strong stuff. wind can blow and it might fall on some dicot plants and kill them, on the other hand excess roundup can kill monocot grasses.
