I just played the worst round of golf of my life!

I just sucked...I could not hit straight or get the ball into the air. Out of 18 holes I had like 3 pars..other than that double to triple bogeys if I was lucky.

I did have a 30 foot par go in for par!!! and a 250 drive!..

Man, last week I had the weirdest game...my usual slice was seldomly around...I was driving fine and hitting my woods well...lifting balls well with a fairway wood, but my irons were horrible. I couldn't use a PW worth sh*t, and that's usually a very good part of my game...my putting was okay, but took a while to pick up.

But all in all, I'm happy if I can keep my woods-game where it is and bring back my iron-game.

Oh and I also forgot...at the end of the 9th hole I got so mad that I smacked my 9 iron into the ground and broke the shaft in half. A first.

a slice is when the ball tails away from you and a hook is when it draws across your body. so a lefty would slice to the left and hook to the right.

I used to work at a golf course, and we once had a guy do something like that. He was throwing his clubs . I think he was trying to get over a water hazard and kept sending the balls into the drink. Anyway, he eventually threw a brand new, very expensive driver, and it landed in a tree. The course marshall had been sitting there watching him, and saw it happen; he drove up and asked what was going on, and the man said that he just "lost his grip" on the backswing. The marshall said he was really close to just leaving the driver in the tree until we closed and going to get it for himself afterwards. . He didn't do it, though.

I agree with the saying though, I used to play golf, badly.
