nah i just got in a war with India..i was peaceful with them through out the entire game..then they load up a million units on the southern part of my nation..i let them slide because i think they're passing but BAM out of nowhere they take out everything. Im halfway done crushing their attack but they took at like 2-3 good cities. they're fawked once i start playing again.

the great thing about civ 3 is that you have to think a lot.. in my previous addiction, diablo2 LOD, all you did was click click click. Civ r0xx0rs and i recommend everyone free up some time if they're going to install this game.

I had about the same thing happen to me, only it was Germany that declaired war on me. It was funny because they were on a different landmass and had no way to reach me - it was my Galleon that discovered them.

But then the English joined sides with Germany and began rushing troops into my cities. So I began cranking out my own troops and offered Russia a little dough to join my war effort and then began the battle to bring England down - and oh, I had them begging to stop after I took four of their cities from them...

Hee-hee - run your tea-swillin', crumpet-eatin', Harry Potter lovin' asses back home to momma!!!

just got done with a round of large earth, 15 other nations. about 4 hours into it all the bastards declared war on me :| i didnt last too long. im not very good at that game. the only way ive ever beat it (even in civ1) is to win the space race, or go pure science and win through an iron fist. calvalry units dont stand up to bombers too well . i can never play it like it should be played, i suck too much.

man, i've been thinking about getting Civ. 3 for a while now, i guess i'll be picking it up when i get a chance.

BUT, i have finals in about two weeks. do you think i should wait until finals are over to install it and start playing.

let's just say, i have no will power whatsoever, for example, i had to uninstall Counterstrike b/c i couldnt study(if i want to play again, i have to download it with a 56K modem, lolz

12 hours is nothing... you should see some of the players of Everquest. I myself have pulled 24 hours straight, but i've seen people pull longer. Hell, i knew some guy that pulled almost 48 hours camping Ragefire (he has a random spawn of 3-72 hours, and is needed to be killed for an 'epic' weapon).

But i might grab Civ 3 today... been itching to .

alright i'm up, gonna start playing again. I guess i can take a lunch break in between turns because theAI takes FOREVER!! This will be the first time in civ3 i have gone through an entire attack without dying or quitting.
