To me, cheap pepperoni is better than cheap sausage, (ie Pizza Hut/ Little Caesars) but generally any pizzeria that makes their own sausage is much better than pepperoni.
I moved to the boonies where we have 1 decent pizza joint - an XL pizza (8 moderately large slices) w/ 3-4 toppings is $28 O_O
