I just ordered a camera from bestbuy.com

How long will they usually wait before they cancel my order? I won't be able to go pick up my order until saturday morning.

When can I pick up my online order at the store?

When you place a store pickup order on BestBuy.com, you will receive two e-mails:

First e-mail: An Order Confirmation e-mail telling you we received your online order.

Second e-mail: The Store Pickup Notification e-mail (usually within 2 hours when an order is placed during store hours). Your purchase will be available for store pickup anytime after you receive the second Store Pickup Notification e-mail stating inventory has been confirmed and the order is ready to be picked up.

You need to pick up your purchase within 8 days of placing your order. After 8 days, your order will automatically be canceled (your credit card will be refunded).

At the time of pickup, if the item(s) are offered at a lower price in the store, we will automatically credit the difference to the purchasing credit card.

Store hours vary by location. Call your local Best Buy store for details.

Please Note: To ensure the security of your online purchases, only the person who made the purchase may pick up items in the store.

Make sure you check it when you pick it up (make sure everything is there) - when I bought my D70 from BB, I ordered online & picked up at the store -- the camera was in an unlocked cabinet just behind the counter (where anybody could have walked up & taken it), and the box wasn't sealed at all. Even the clerk was surprised that they would leave a $1300 camera in an unlocked cabinet like that...
